Rubin and Rudman Adds Four Attorneys, Further Expanding its Private Client Capabilities

Boston, MA (June 25, 2024) – Rubin and Rudman continues its strategic growth with the addition of four attorneys, all formerly of Burns & Levinson. The addition of Steven E. DiCairano, Courtney D. Greenberg, Jennifer L. Laucirica, and Sydney B. Brady significantly expands the firm’s private client capabilities.
DiCairano, Greenberg, Laucirica, and Brady reunite with Lisa M. Cukier, who recently transitioned her robust fiduciary litigation and private client practice from Burns & Levinson to Rubin and Rudman. “I am thrilled my former colleagues made the move to Rubin and Rudman which already has one of the most sophisticated and highly esteemed private client law groups in Massachusetts, said Cukier.”

ABOUT STEVEN E. DICAIRANO
DiCairano, a Partner at Rubin and Rudman, represents clients in all stages of fiduciary litigation, focusing on guardianships; conservatorships; trust litigation; claims of breach of fiduciary duty, undue influence, and financial exploitation; and will contests. He was previously a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable David H. Hennessy, Chief U.S. Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the Honorable Andrew M. Mead, Associate Justice, Maine Supreme Judicial Court, Bangor, ME. DiCairano earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, graduating cum laude, and a B.A. from Stonehill College. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Triangle, Inc. He is admitted to Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
ABOUT COURTNEY D. GREENBERG
Greenberg, a Partner, counsels individuals in various types of family law matters, including complex prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, as well as divorce, modifications and contempt matters, child custody, child support, alimony, removal cases, paternity actions, commitment hearings, mental health matters, as well as the appointment of guardianships. She assists clients in reaching their goals both through negotiations with third parties, as well as through contested litigation. Greenberg received her J.D. cum laude from Suffolk University Law School, and a B.A. cum laude from Syracuse University. She has repeatedly served as a Co-Chair for the Greater Boston Legal Services Associate Drive, which raises funds to assist in providing representation to domestic violence victims.
ABOUT JENNIFER L. LAUCIRICA
Laucirica, also a Partner, has twenty-four years of experience in various trust and estates practice areas, including will contests, undue influence, breach of fiduciary duty, guardianships and conservatorships, probate law, real estate, estate and gift tax, trust and estate administration, and estate planning. She has a unique legislative background in testifying in support of the enactment of the Massachusetts Uniform Probate Code and serving on the MUPC Implementation Committee. She has also served as Chair and Vice Chair of the MBA Probate Section Council. Jennifer earned a J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law, and a B.S. from Northeastern University. Jennifer is a Boy Scouts of America leader and merit badge counselor.
ABOUT SYDNEY B. BRADY
Brady, an Associate, focuses her practice on complex estate and trust matters, guardianship proceedings, and conservatorship proceedings. Additionally, Brady has experience representing clients in fiduciary litigation and domestic relations matters. Brady earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, and a B.A. from Smith College. She is admitted in Massachusetts. She frequently writes and speaks about fiduciary litigation and T&E matters.
