Makson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Boston, MA (July 2, 2024<\/strong><strong>)<\/strong> \u2013 Boston-based, full-service law firm Rubin and Rudman is pleased to welcome <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rubinrudman.com\/attorneys\/taylor-m-makson\/\">Taylor M. Makson<\/a> as an Associate in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rubinrudman.com\/practices\/litigation\/\">Litigation<\/a> department.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor\u2019s litigation experience is broad and includes both civil and criminal matters. She is experienced in providing legal representation and advice to clients from initial demand for settlement or trial in a variety of cases including contract disputes, wage and hour claims, consumer protection claims, and real estate and landlord\/tenant disputes, as well as criminal matters, including 209A abuse prevention orders and 258E harassment prevention orders. She excels navigating the parameters of the law to achieve her clients\u2019 goals, mapping creative strategies, crafting arguments, and collaborating with clients and colleagues across the firm.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining Rubin and Rudman, Makson practiced at Burns & Levinson as an associate in the firm\u2019s Business Litigation department. Preceding Burns & Levinson, Makson was an assistant district attorney in the Middlesex District Attorney\u2019s Office where she conducted more than 30 jury trials in district and superior court. She prosecuted high-risk cases of domestic violence, as well as cases involving firearms and illegal narcotics. While in the DA\u2019s office, she received an award for her role in the Mental Health Court at the Cambridge District Court to obtain just outcomes for mentally ill defendants and the victims of their crimes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving Taylor join our Litigation department is a tremendous boost for our team,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rubinrudman.com\/attorneys\/michael-f-connolly\/\">Michael F.
